A companys greatness can be both financially or philosophically or both. A person with greatness of soul will not even care even for honor because the desire for external good is weak and thus he will not have the motivation to perform despicable actions. Overall, the greatness of soul make the virtues greater. The author believes that all virtues are closely related to each other, there are always connections amongst any virtues. This is because things will not occur in isolation with other things. Aristotles purpose of showing the idea of the greatness of soul is to teach us how to distinguish the promise of human.
